During my tenure as director of the Regional Scientific Library in Kladno, p.o., the company ASEN logistic, or In autumn 2021, a team of workers from the szěhováníbezpráce.cz division moved the book collection from six warehouses in various locations in the city of Kladno to the newly built depository in Divadelní Street.

It was about 480 thousand documents, i.e. books, maps, music, CD + LP, a total of about 11.5 km of shelf space.

The documents had to be stored in crates, transported to their destination, unloaded from the crates and alphabetically or according to the code designation, rearrange the shelves. After the initial briefing, the Asenu team worked completely independently the whole time, without errors or mistakes.

Communication with the management of Asen, planning of daily work, provision of packaging and transport material, coordination of the team and final cleaning were without defects or comments.

Regional Office of the Central Bohemian Region, i.e. the founder of the Regional Library, stated on his website that moving almost half a million documents of the book fund in 7 weeks is probably a world record.

The price/performance ratio also deserves an unmissable mention. In the tender, the ASEN company offered to do its work not only the fastest, but also the cheapest out of all 7 participants.

Unexpectedly, we had to vacate the rented office space and move all the furniture to storage. Since we are a state office, it was necessary to tender for a moving company. The company "Moving without work" came out the best. They acted quickly, calculated a quote in a short time and accommodated us in terms of securing the move. During the course of the event we discovered that everything would not fit in the car, there was no problem at all to continue the next day. The company provided everything. Relocation of the Detached Workplace of the ÚP ČR Mnichovo Hradiště 27-28/2/2024
The move involved 10 fully equipped offices, a meeting room, a kitchen and a complete workplace archive (575 complete archive boxes) from the 1st floor of the "old building" to a new workplace 600m away in Mnichov Hradiště, Mladá Boleslav district.
The move started at 8 a.m. every day and ended around 6 p.m., 2x 160 moving black boxes filled (we still had them), 9 moving cars filled.
Everything took place according to careful prior agreement, preparation and coordination both on the part of Mr. Stríteský or his representative and the head of DP Mnichovo Hradiště. I rate it 1* and recommend it! Our every request was met. Even the move to a specific place, perhaps only the removal of the Christmas tree, where the decorations could break, was postponed :) Otherwise, all the furniture and all the things in the crates were taken away, loaded, taken out, unloaded at the new place. Well, of course, it is really difficult to meet the requirements of 10 women in terms of furniture :)
So once again I want to thank you for the move, the effort and everything else related to it, which cannot be fully described, it has to be experienced!
